A gynecologist is a doctor who specializes in women's reproductive health. Obstetricians care for women during their pregnancy and just after the baby is born. They also deliver babies. An ob-gyn is trained to do all of these things.
Gynaecology or gynecology is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive systems and the breasts. Outside medicine, the term means "the science of women". Its counterpart is andrology, which deals with medical issues specific to the male reproductive system.
A gynecological disorder is a condition which affects the female reproduction organs, namely the breasts and organs in the abdominal and pelvic area including the womb (uterus), ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina and vulva. Virtually every woman will suffer a gynecological condition at some point in her life.
The Gynaecology Department at IM Multi-specialty Hospital handles regular gynaecological cases in coordination with 24-hour functional operation theatre. Emergency admissions such as those involving acute heavy bleeding, ectopic pregnancy etc. are handled alongside the routine work.
We even have a *Save Girl Child* Scheme in which the First Girl Child Normal Delivery is Free.
